There are various ways to know the type of skin that you have if you can visit a dermatologist or follow this step by step guide:
1. wash and rinse your face with warm water then gently pat your face with a soft clean towel. Use a mild makeup cleanser to remove make-up from your face this will aid in removing dirt and oils, avoid scrubbing your face it can lead to irritation.
2. Wait (while waiting do not be tempted to touch your face) for at least one hour but preferably two hours do not apply any product on your face this will allow your face to return to its natural state.
3. Monitoring your skin closely can help you to know your skin type. However, using a tissue to dab on your face at your T-Zone can show an area that has too much oil.
(The part of your forehead above your eyebrows forms the top of the “T”. it is the bridge of your nose, it +consist your forehead and nose )
